I’m currently enrolled in the Instructional Design & Technology Course at Full Sail University so that I can gain more insight to the Instructional Design industry and stay on the edge of education and instructional learning.  We’ve been asked to find an app that we could use and share our experience with it on our blogs so here is my short introductory review of the app Exit Ticket V4.

The reason I chose this App was because since I got my job as a teacher I’m always trying to find ways to keep my students engaged and feel involved during their learning experience.  This app was FREE so I had to try it out.

Exit Ticket was designed for teachers to create interactive online quizzes for their students.  The App let you create four different types of assessments that follow a smooth exit ticket format, reinforcing the lesson from the beginning to end of class.

Making quizzes was fun and easy, plus you have the option for these different question types:

Different Question Types:

  • Multiple Choice

  • True/False

  • Free Response

This app stores all of your content and lets you mix and match questions from different lessons as you go forward through the year.

The simple, bubbly, and modern user interface is really fun to use and create a highly interactive community for the teacher and students.

My last comments on this app is it’s ability to add other specialty apps to it and its integration possibilities with our schools current grading and attendance program, which is Power School.

Exit Ticket was an overall great experience and I will continue to use this app and incorporate it more into my curriculum.  I think the app still has a lot of growing to do but it’s definitely worth the while.
